Turfstone is a multipurpose paving stone. It was originally designed for erosion control to hold the earth on berms, slopes and other unstable areas. Architects immediately saw other uses for Turfstone. The beauty of grass growing through concrete made ugly blacktop driveways and overflow parking areas give way to a more natural look. This new concept is fast taking hold, not only because of its beauty but for its contribution to ecology by letting water return to the earth.
